Why should you publish your data?

When you publish your data, you allow other people to learn from your work. Your effort doesn’t stay in the classroom—it can make a real difference beyond your school and community.

What are the benefits?

1. People from different parts of the country, different countries can view and use your data.
2. Your work helps show what your group and school can do.
3. If many people find your data useful, it may earn you some income over time.

What you need to know before publishing

1. You should know how to enter data correctly into our database (ecodb).
2. Your data must have been collected carefully and recorded properly well.
3. Once published, some people may use your data  without mentioning your name.

Procedure to publish your data

1. You can enter the data yourself after reading this guide, or
2. You can fill in this Excel spreadsheet and send it to us by email at < > or WhatsApp at < >.
3. Our team will help publish it for you – and it will appear reflecting both your school’s name and your group’s name.
